Job Description

​

Team Leader (TL) will be the primary contact point for all the communications and be responsible for; assisting the management of the programme, the implementation, total management and overall coordination of the project activities; management of the team of key and non-key experts; elaboration and delivery of reports; coordination and supervision of the organization; represent the project at key project-relevant events & meetings; monitor the daily progress of the project against the pre-determined and agreed upon time plans and delivery of all necessary inputs such as training for ensuring proper implementation of the activities in accordance with the Contract. TL is expected to give input almost full-time.

On top of his/her project management responsibilities, TL will particularly be responsible for capacity development in youth employment activities within the scope of the project.

Qualifications and skills

​

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Economics or Administrative Sciences or Labour Economics and Industrial Relations. In the absence of such a degree minimum of 10 years of working experience in the field of employment services and /or vocational education and training.

• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

• Full computer literacy.

• Master degree or/and PhD in one of the abovementioned fields will be an asset.

• Preferably 10 but a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in project management

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a team leader or managerial position (in the Contractor Side) in the implementation of projects.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the implementation of capacity building projects related to employment services.

• Experience in the project(s) which include services on vocational training or professional career management or social inclusion of youth or women will be an asset.
